When it rains, it pours….
Well, atleast that is what the weatherman was telling
us for Tuesday. There was no point in going to the beach if there was a 90% chance of storms on the day we planned to go to the beach.
So, in keeping with the “roll with the punches” theme of this vacation. We decided to just relax on Tuesday morning and take it easy and then some of us were going to go visit one of our friends church’s that night while the other half just stayed in, played some cards and relaxed.
Well, we waited, and waited, and waited……NO RAIN! In fact, at one point there were sunny skies without a single cloud. We made the best of it with some shopping and eating at our favorite BBQ joint Sonny’s for lunch.

Then since the rain still never came everyone just decided to do their own thing and Christopher and I were able to have an unexpected date night!
We decided to go to Downtown Disney and just walk around and find a great place to eat that we have never been. As we pulled in the first place we came to was Raglan Road.
I have heard this was a great place to eat but didn’t realize they have live Celtic music and dancing all day and night. I was so excited and we were able to be seated in the main dining room right away with no waiting!
This is definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The food was amazing, we even splurged for their bread pudding and it was divine! The music and dancing was phenomenal as well.
I could have stayed there for hours just watching and listening. After dinner we walked around Pleasure Island and were going to buy tickets for the Balloon ride. Unfortunately, it was just about then that the winds started to pick up and they could not fly the Balloon that night.
As we continued walking through Pleasure Island the promised rain that was supposed to be going on all day long decided to finally show up and of course we had no umbrella or poncho.
We definitely got super wet but not soaked like we did at Animal Kingdom. We didn’t let that get us down and finished shopping, then headed home because we knew that we had a long and fun day at Epcot tomorrow.
We had a great relaxing day and romantic fun night. I will call this vacation day a success. I am so looking forward to the next time we go because we are going to make eating at Raglan Road a permanent part of our Disney Vacations.
Make sure to catch our vlog on wednesday to see all the fun we had at Epcot!
Have a magical weekend!
