Hollywood Studios
This was one of the days that almost didn’t happen. As we were planning out
our trip, some in our party whined about going to Hollywood Studios because they said “there isn’t much to do”. How wrong were they.
Having a toddler in our very Disney oriented home means a staple in our house is Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McStuffins are Libby’s favorites. So to see Disney Jr. Live with her was on the top of my list.
I am thankful that Hollywood Studios got voted in by the majority of our family because this day ended up being awesome. There were several factors which made it so great.
First off we were rested. That really is an essential part of vacation even though we don’t really follow that rule. The day before the weather was not working with us at all so we were forced to relax on vacation. Imagine that!
The weather that day started off rainy. Full on curly hair by the time we got to the gates. It then started to really clear up and was nice for most of the day.
Disney Jr. Live was such a highlight for me. Libby has been a huge fan of MMC. She just lights up whenever she hears the theme song. The live show was no different.
This show caught me a little off guard. It is in a large open auditorium with only a few seats along the walls. The floor was marked off for you and your family to sit and watch the show from.
For some in our family this was not an option. So again we had to split up. It was a very cute show that was full of excitement. Of course Libby had already seen it several times on youtube prior to seeing it live.
Another of Libby’s favorites is WOOOODY!!! She love him. And we love the whole area around Toy Story Midway Mania. This is one of my all time favorite rides. It is just so much fun.
This was my parents first time riding it so we were so excited to take them on it. The wait was not that bad at all since we did it the very first thing. Mom has a lot of issues with rides where you could get motion sickness. Her and Libby rode together and they both loved it!
The most magical thing happened on this day. Some days you just encounter some really amazing people and castmembers. That was the case that day. It just seemed everyone had taken their happy pills that day and were so kind.
We knew that taking pics with some of the characters was a must a HS. We got to see lots of our favs. My husband loves the Incredibles, so he was geeked to get his pic with Mr. Incredible himself.
We also snagged pics with Stitch. He was so much fun but don’t touch his ears, he doesn’t like that very much as Tim found out. The best pics that day by far were the ones with Minnie Mouse. We waited about 15 minutes to see her but once we got in the magic happened!
She took to Libby and spent about ten minutes doing a mini photo shoot with her. The castmembers were so great. Libby just loved it and we ended up with such a great memory to take home with us.
Over all it was an awesome day full of awesome memories!
Have a Magical Day!
