Packing for a day at a Disney Park! 5-1

Here is my continued list of Must haves when packing for your day at the parks!

My Top 5 are:

5-  Gift Cards

If you are anything like me, you love all things Disney, and once I get into the gift shops I tend to go a little crazy and find tons of things that I have to have!

One way to keep myself from all those maybe not so necessary must buys, is buying Disney Gift cards before my trip. This forces me to budget how much I spend and keep myself from buying every single coffee mug they have ever made.

4- Snacks

There is nothing worse than a grown adult having a melt down in the middle of Fantasyland. Except maybe a toddler having a similar meltdown at the same time.

One way to avoid this is to make sure to pack plenty of snacks in your bag. I recommend granola bars, goldfish, cheese crackers or peanut butter crackers. Those are great snacks that will keep you tide over until your next meal and will also help keep your budget down.

3- Camera/Camera Bag

This day in age we all have some form of smart phone that makes it easy to capture all the magical memories we want. However, our phones can get full of memory and very quickly lose battery power if we are using them to take pictures and videos all day.

I would suggest a simple digital camera to use while on your vacation. Don’t forget to pack it in a small camera bag that you can thrown in your backpack so that the times you are on the rides it will be safely resting in its case.

2- Phone Charger

Disney has started offering specials spots in the parks as “charging stations”. Basically, these are just outlets that you can plug your charger into and give it a boost.

However you can also charge your phone while eating at any of the quick service restaurants. Just find the closest seat to an outlet and charge it up while you eat. This saves you time and give you a longer charge on your phone.

1- A Good Attitude

This is probably the most important thing you can take with you at any of the Disney Parks. No one wants to ride It’s A Small World with Grumpy.

It just sucks the fun out of the day. If you are going with a group of people, just go into it with a carefree, fun attitude and your day will go so much better. I mean, your at DISNEY, how can you not be happy!

With that said…it’s time for me to get some things ready for packing. We fly out in 7 Days! YIPPEE!!!! Look for our post coming up next week and then the week following we will be sharing bits and pieces of our Disney excursions.

Have a Magical Weekend!
