Magic Kingdom Day 3
On most of our trips we go to the Magic Kingdom two days but that was not in the plan this year. This year because there were eight of us we wanted to experience the other parks together. A lot of that had to do with really everyone experiencing Disney with Libby for the first time.
Our day started out very exciting because we went early to be there for rope drop. We had to ride the resort monorail because it was so early. We didn’t mind though because who doesn’t love riding around the monorail at Disney!
Rope drop was here and there were tears. It was really cool doing it with lots of people who had never experienced it. Libby loved it cause she had seen it hundreds of times on youtube so she was very familiar with it.
After we headed into the park, we headed over to City Hall to get our disability passes for mom and Tim. Of course we had to get our celebration buttons.
Next came our family pic in front of Main street. This is fun but to get all 8 people to look the same way is time consuming. Starbucks was our next stop which for my taste was a little busy but I am not addicted to it like some in our group.
Another part that I was really looking forward to was showing my family new fantasyland. I wanted them to see all the things that I had told them about from my trip in Jan. and we were all super excited to eat at Be Our Guest.
Of course they all loved it! Chris and Mom got to be a part of the Enchanted Tales with Belle. Libby had to sneak in of course and be with Grammy during the story. The cast members were very kind to let her play the role of Mrs. Potts with my mom.
Be Our Guest was everything we dreamed of and more. The food was great. The line wasn’t that long since we lined up at 10:30ish. The atmosphere was amazing. We explored all the rooms after we ate, which was almost like a ride in its self.
We then did our typical family Disney thing….go a hundred miles an hour to do all that we possibly can till they kick us out. The rain did slow us down a bit but we got to see almost everything.
Magic Kingdom is such a well, magical place, even if you only get to spend a small amount of time, it is truly amazing!
Next week come back to hear all about the Animal Kingdom.
Have a Magical Weekend
