Fantasyland Review | The Original
Ahhh, Fantasyland. Such a wonderful place that holds so many memories for me. Let me tell you about a few of my favorite spots that I think you must go to while you are there.
First up is The Mad Tea Party. Obviously this ride comes to you from Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. You get to be a part of the Mad Tea Party just like Alice! The one thing I would warn you about is that if you are prone to getting dizzy or sick from motion, this is probably a ride you should sit out. But, don’t just pass it by. It is still great to see tea cups in all their color an the surprise guest in the center kettle.
From there we go to Mickey’s Philharmagic! This 4D film attraction will have you excited from the moment you step foot in line waiting for it. The premises of the attraction is that Donald (in true Donald Duck style) tries to take over Mickey’s orchestra.
As you can imagine. things go array and you get to venture through a lot of different Disney movies and characters. It is a great ride that will engage ALL of your senses.
One more thing….don’t forget to stop in the shop right outside of the exit, and look up in the ceiling for the final piece of the attraction.
Now onto The Winnie the Pooh ride! Being that Pooh is my favorite Disney character, this ride is epic to me. Not only do you get to play with some of the vegetables in Rabbits garden while you wait in line, but you also get to play in Pooh’s honey!
Don’t worry, it is not actual honey, but instead interactive screens where you swipe away honey to reveal one of the characters. You then hop into one of Pooh’s honey pots and the ride takes you through the many adventures of Pooh and his friends. This is a ride your kids will love and even the kid inside of you!
We couldn’t finish up Fantasyland without talking about The Pinocchio Village Haus. This is a quick service restaurant that you will definitely want to visit.
This has a great seating area that overlooks the Small World ride. They carry pastas, pizzas, and even a meatball sub sandwich. The atmosphere and decor are all centered around the story of Pinocchio. You can find him and Geppetto all around the restaurant. Disney makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the movie.
Thanks for stopping by to read this today. Hope your day has been magical and you have a magical weekend to come!
