Family Disney Vacation 2013: Magic Kingdom Day!

Family Disney Vacation 2013:

Magic Kingdom Day!

The time had come. It was finally here! My first time back to the Magic Kingdom in over 2 years. It was also the first time I would ever be seeing the Rope Drop. I had been waiting for this moment for months and months and months.

As we stepped off the monorail, the excitement was building up so much that I thought I was going to burst into happy tears right then and there. Once we got into our position (we had the perfect spot right in the center where we could see all the magic up close), the familiar music started to play and as the train pulled in, the tears definitely started to flow.

The rope drop show is hands down something you MUST DO when visiting Disney World. It was such a magical way to start the day and one of the highlights of our entire trip.

The next thing I was looking forward to was all the wonderful fall decorations. This was the first time that I can remember being at Disney with fall decor. I love fall time and everything that comes with it.

From the pumpkins, to the scarecrows and autumn colors everywhere. The Magic Kingdom definitely had fall decorations every little place you could possible see. Main Street was one of my favorites.

So many adorable wreaths and pumpkins everywhere. Just as you walk in you are greeted by some scary and not so scary scarecrows who are all ready for fall time. As usual, Disney did an outstanding job setting the tone for this time of year. You can’t help but smile when you see it all.

Make sure to check out our vlog this week to see some of fall decorations yourself.
Have a magical weekend everyone!
