Breakfast while on Vacation to Disney World

Breakfast while on Vacation to Disney World

Where? That is the real question of breakfast while on vacation to Walt Disney World. Whether you stay on property or off site, everyone’s gotta eat!

MickeyWaffleThe choices are determined by several factors: time, budget, and group size. The key is to do your investigating before you go so that you can make an educated decision. Good thing you have The Lemons Sisters to keep you in the know!

Breakfast at the Parks

Breakfast at the parks can be a lifetime memory! You can choose sit down dining at one of the resorts or quick service in the parks or a character dining. All of these have great benefits.

Breakfast with the characters can give you one on one time with your favorite princess or character. Not to mention a great meal. You may also get into the parks earlier because your reservations may be before the park even opens, which is a bonus!

I am told that some of the most loved places is anywhere that sells Mickey Waffles. The all time must try though is Tonga Toast. It is served at the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort. Tonga Toast is banana stuffed sourdough bread, rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with Strawberry Compote. Sounds great to me!

If you didn’t have time to eat there are all kinds of quick service restaurants all over the Disney Parks to get you that soo import first meal of the day. Also don’t forget to get your cup of joe throughout the parks too.

Eat before you go

If you are like us and are usually with a lot of people who can’t make up their mind and on a strict budget this may be the best plan for you. But like most things we give you here are more choices: eat at your hotel or fast food it up.

We do both. We typically go to the parks for several days which causes us to do both. We usually stop at the nearest Wal-mart when we get into town and pick up food for the hotel. We get a variety of quickie things that are easy with hardly any mess.

Fruit, cereal, yogurt, poptarts and breakfast bars. That way everyone who wants to eat at the condo can. Then for those who are just not morning people we have the traveling breakfast. My personal family is not morning people so we squeeze as much sleep as we can and eat something in the car on the way.

The next option is that we hit up the fast food places. There is a McDonalds on property that is very convient for days you want to just get to the parks! Another favorite is Starbucks. Sometimes you just need that extra boost to get you going, plus they have some great breakfast sandwiches too.

What is your favorite breakfast tradition while on vaca to see everyone’s favorite mouse? Is it character dining or somewhere in the parks? If so where and what? If you eat at the hotel tell us what is your fav. Skip it all together? We want to know that too!

Have a magical Day!
