Adventureland | Leann’s Review

Adventureland

When you first enter Adventureland you can see that you really are in for an adventure.  This lush land is lined with all things tropical.  Yet there is such a mystery to it.

Some of people’s all time favorite rides are in Adventureland.  If you have a sense of adventure this is truly the land for you!

Jungle Cruise

This boat ride into the depths of the jungle is not for the faint of heart.  Just kidding!  Everyone loves this ride.  It is packed full of adventure as your tour guide takes you through hippo and elephant invested waters.

If you can endure your guides corny jokes, there are actually some beautiful scenes.  Like you can see some of the natives in their habitat and of course the beauty of the backside of a waterfall.

It is strongly recommended that you get a fast pass for this ride.  It only lasts 9 minutes, but seems soo much longer (in a good way).  Such a fun ride for all ages in general.

Swiss Family Treehouse

The Swiss Family Treehouse is based on the 1960 live action Disney feature film Swiss Family Robinson.  This actraction is treehouse that you can walk through and explore.

Never seen it? Never heard of it?  Don’t feel bad, most people walk right past it and never go to it.  It is something that you should do atleast once in your lifetime.

Now if you have some kids that really need to blow off some energy, you have found the place.  You start your adventure with the 116 stairs to the house and once you are at the top there is no turning around.

I give this attraction a 10 on my snoozefest!  I am also confident that when my Libby is about 6 or so we will venture up the branches of this treehouse once again.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Such a great ride!!!! We love this ride!  It is one of our families favorites. What about this is not to love.  First off it is a boat ride. So it is cool and relaxing.

If you have seen the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, they were based off of this attraction.  After the movies became so popular it had big effects on the ride.  They added characters from the movies to enhance the ride, which it did.

You travel through pirate invested waters and see the towns they have pillaged.  All along you will hear that familiar tune of Yo Ho, A Pirates life for me!

The journey doesn’t stop when the ride does.  As you exit you are thrown into a shop full of all things piratey.  This includes a very cool pirate experience: The Pirates League.

This is the pirate version of bippity boppity boutique.  Your little one can become their favorite pirate in this experience.  You can even do a photo shoot.

But what there’s more!

Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial is a show that happens several times during the day.  It is just what it says: a pirate tutorial.  Captain Jack Sparrow shows us all how to be a real pirates directly across from the entrance of Pirates of the Caribbean.

What a fun place!  I can’t wait to hear about the rest of the adventures this Friday!

Have a Magical Day!
